Smokestacks & chairs

On a train I read an article about an antiques furniture auction. Upon arrival I learned my Friend Thierry had attended the event as I was travelling. At this moment the memory of one of the chairs for sale somehow merged with the memory of my NY apartment’s window view: smokestacks.
